About the Event
This 5-day immersion workshop is the only one of its kind! Connie Harris will give pupils a true hands-on educational workshop in decorative finishes. With 30 years of experience in the field, Connie is an endless fountain of knowledge and has a large portfolio of executed projects. As a sought-after artist for this type of work, it is a true passion of hers to share her knowledge and skills with a new generation of artists.
This workshop is a full-on immersion experience like no other. Participants will be surrounded by everything that is Louisiana Art, History, and Culture. Connie's beautiful and historical 105-year home, Chatsworth Plantation, in St. Gabriel, sits at the edge of the Mississippi River. St. Gabriel is filled with history, and beautiful landscapes near the Mississippi, and is an extremely peaceful city located right outside of Baton Rouge and is only an hour away from New Orleans.…
